- He proposes specific plans, with a day attached
- He remembers small details and brings them back later
- He introduces you into the rest of his life
- His interest does not drop the moment you are available
Signals that mean less than people think
Fast replies, long messages late at night, flirty tone, watching your stories. All of these are cheap to produce and are compatible with mild interest, boredom, or habit. They are evidence of attention, not of intention.
The question underneath the question
Usually 'is he interested' really means 'is it safe to want this'. Those are different questions, and the second one is answered by how he treats you over time, not by decoding one message.
